Al Munson of the Fred E. Hayes Post of The American Legion presented Don Thomas an American flag to be displayed over the new Senior Center. The flag was given in behalf of Dorothy Parker in memory of her husband, George Parker, a longtime Legion member and World War I veteran. Through a cooperative arrangement with the City of Grandview, the Senior Center is also the new Post Home for Fred E. Hayes Post 57 of The American Legion.
