Temporary Commander Wilmer Brinton, Temporary Adjutant George Mood were unanimously elected and given the task of interviewing the State Commander on charter application.

A motion was made that this organization be temporarily known as West Seattle Post of the American Legion. The motion carried.

The meeting took place at 4551 California Ave in West Seattle.

The meeting Chair was D.C. Miller who presided over the affair.

As you can plainly see taking of the minutes has evolved a bit, yet nothing was lost in translation when these veterans came together in the purpose of starting an American Legion Post. Who knew that what they started those many years ago has stood the test of time and still serves veterans, families, and the community.
