For many years the veterans met at the Lower Elwha Housing Authority Conference Room. Both groups met the Elwha Veteran Group and the New Elwha Post 121. Until one year a few years ago in 2013 at a Community Council Meeting under for the good of..... us veterans again requested for the Gathering Place be given to the veterans to use. The Council said yes. with the understanding that we share the building. we agreed and said they can still use the building as they need it. all we ask is that they clean up after themselves and not take any of what we put in there for everyone to see and look at and ask what is it. It has worked out great.
