Post 41 was recipient of the Post Excellence Award presented by the National Commander. This award recognizes Posts that demonstrated excellence in four of the main areas of concern to The American Legion. To qualify for the award, Post 41 was required to certify a high standard of participation in each of the four areas—membership, youth activities, community service, and support to currently serving troops and veterans. This is the third consecutive year that Post 41 has received this award.
