Since the late 1940s, Post 41 has been volunteering to assist at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center. This started by providing cigarettes and toiletries to the patients and visiting with them on a regular basis. In December 1980, Post 41 approved a donation to help provide Christmas gifts to the patients. This became an annual donation.
In recent years, this has expanded to providing cookies each month to the Stephens City VA Clinic. The Post also participates in and supports the annual Salute to Hospitalized Veterans at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center.
