Ray Hogan & William Frederick Pemberton were chosen to attend Boys’ State. Kris Michele Jenkins & Mila Weiner were chosen to attend Girls’ State. Mila Weiner was the winner of the Post Citizenship Award in 1983 and 1984. William Pemberton was accepted to West Point in 1985. Shelly Tennyson was awarded an Auxiliary scholarship.
Town Manager Roger Baker gave the keynote speech at the Memorial Day ceremony sponsored by the Post.
