2026 American Legion Legacy Run visits with students and veterans from Meskwaki Nation

During an American Legion Legacy Run stop in Tama, Iowa, American Legion Riders visited with members of American Legion Robert Morgan Post 701, which is part of the Meskwaki Nation settlement. The post invited Dance-Versity, a youth performance and cultural group from the Meskwaki Nation settlement school, to share traditional songs, history, and dances of the Meskwaki people with the Riders.
