A Pentagon surprise for 2025 American Legion Boys Nation senators

During their tour of the Pentagon, 2025 American Legion Boys Nation senators were surprised when the guest speaker in the Hall of Heroes turned out to be Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Hegseth spoke for 15 minutes and then spent an additional 30 minutes in an extended Q&A session with them. “I want you to know how motivating it is to us to see this kind of enthusiasm and commitment to serve,” Hegseth told the senators.
