Kansas American Legion Family delivers Thanksgiving dinners to Fort Riley families

Members of the Kansas American Legion Family hosted the annual Big Red Turkey Run to provide Thanksgiving meals to military families at Fort Riley. The tradition - which began in 2008 when American Legion Riders delivered dinners to 25 families connected to the Warrior Transition Battalion - has grown to a base-wide initiative that served more than 240 families this year.
