Erroll Spencer Fellows was born August 7, 1892 in Barre, Vermont.  When her registered for the draft, he was 24 years old and lived in Castleton, Vermont.  He had three years prior service in the Cavalry.

Fellows enlisted March 5, 1918 at Camp Greene, North Carolina and deployed to Europe May 10, 1918. He was assigned to Barrery E, 16th Field Artillery.

He died of wounds suffered in battle on October 3, 1918 during the Meuse Argonne Ofensive: October 1, to October 12.

He is buried in the American Cemetery Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, France.
