The American Legion College begins its first year. Department of Vermont sends first student, to represent them.

Thirty students from across the Nation came together in Indianapolis, Indiana, home of the National Headquarters.

5 Days of intensive study of Legion History, programs development, revitalization and Development of posts. Constitution and Bylaws and Resolution writing.

Students were tasked daily to  problem solve typical post challenges with National officers and staff as teachers and supporters. National Commander Harold “Butch” Miller led these young veterans through the course study.
