Marjorie “Marge” Murphy, married to Joseph Murphy, who would later become Department Commander, was elected Department President. She would serve with Post #37’s own Wayne P.Mclean Department Commander.
Marge come to Vermont from Connecticut, found Vermont her home. She loved to sing patriotic songs. She had a spirit that made her tenure inspirational.
