Fred C.H. Frappiea Jr. was born December 5, 1947. Residence: Saxtons River, Vermont.
He enlisted in the Army. Start of tour date December 14,1967. He was the rank of PFC. Specialty: Light Weapons Infantry. Service # 11747950. Served with the 101st Airborne Division, 2nd Battalion, 501st Infantry C. Comapny.
He died through hostile action in South Vietnam of artillery rocket mortar.
He is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, Panel 45e, Line 55.
He was the only recorded death, in our area, of the Vietnam War.
