Mr. Kiniry was well know as operating the Opera house for many years. He also came to the rescue and opened the Dreamland Theatre when the town hall burned down. He did pen the Opera House movie theatre in the 30’s along with Charlie Gillis as operator and he as manager. He worked as district manager for Interstate Theater and the Rockingham Operating Company which, after two year legal battle, now controlled the State Theater on Rockingham Street and the Park or Dreamland where the Post later moved into.
