Born in Proctor, Vt, graduated from Mount St. Joseph Academy.
Graduate of Norwich University with a Bachelors degree in Education, entered the US Army Reserves being commissioned as a LT.
Captain Zsido was the Commander of Company C. 368th Engineers Battalion Army Reserves.
1973 worked for Tucker construction as foreman.
Worked for CVPS marketing and customer sales division.
Commander of Post #31 1975-78
1982-1984 Alderman for the city of Rutland
Rutland City Planning Board until resignation after a controversial vote and passage of Act200 which proved to be a failed piece of legislation.
Zsido is described in articles as a man that is a meticulous note taker, insightful on the implications of political actions. He is a man of resolve and convictions. He will always do what is right for others, even at his own cost.
He has been the foundation of Post #31. Like his father George, he has supported the programs and principles of The American Legion and he has mentored, inspired and given a younger generation someone to look to for guidance and leadership.
