Louis Richard Trepanier
7/17/1925-6/29/2007
Graduated from West Rutland HS 1943 and Rutland Business College.
Enlisted in the Navy 1943-46 during WWII. He the amphibious forces as a radioman stationed in Japan. He then enlisted in the US Army1947-1952 and he was honorably discharged on a medical disability after a car accident in Japan.
1959 Managed the Texaco service station in Rutland.
Worked for the US Postal Service.
Started Trips remodeling service.
Past Post Commander 1969-1970.
1969 He was VP of Federation of Postal Clerks.
Member of VFW,Elks,Moose, and the DAV, he was Dept. commander 1971.
After his wife past away, he moved to Bradenton, Florida where he died in 2007.
He is buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery, West Rutland, VT.
