Born in Center Rutland, Vt. Attended schools at Whipple Hollow, West Rutland HS and Rutland Business College. 

 

World War II veteran enlisting 1/17/1944 - 12/21/1945; Army Reserves for 2 years upon return from active duty. 

 

He became Rutland Post #31 Commander 1958

Rutland County CDR: 1959-1960

4th District Cdr: 1960-1962

Dept. Vice Cdr: 1962-1963 (acting Dept. Cdr Feb-June 1963)

Department Commander 1963-64

Alt. National Executive Committeeman 1964-66

National Executive Committeeman 1966-68

 

35 years of service to the Rutland Police Department as patrolman.

 

Member of: Christ the King church, K of C, DAV, Eagles, Local, State and National Police Benevolent Associations. Editor of the Vt Police Yearbook. 

 

He was married to Catherine Grazini a Past Department President of The American Legion

He was father to Alan Bernard Grazini who also served as The American Legion Department Commander . 

 

 

He died age 65, buried at St Joseph’s cemetery.
