William J. Kelley
4/17/1927-10/15/1997
Born in New York City, graduated from Rutland HS class of 1945.
World War II veteran of US Army stationed in the European Theater 8/13/1945-11/10/1947.
He was a mason. He worked for several years with John A. Russell Corp. then self employed for 20 years.
Member of Christ the King, Rutland organizations of the Elks, Proctor Pittsford Country Club, Mendon Fish and Game Club, Secretary and Treasurer of Local 5 Vt Bricklayers, Trustee of Vt Conference of Bricklayers.
Post Commander 1955-56, he encouraged educational scholarships and oratorical contest.
He died 1997 and is buried at Evergreen Cemetery.
