Arnold Emmanuel Johnson
11/22/1914-1/7/1999
Born in Rutland,Vt, graduated from Rutland HS, was active in sports programs.
WWII veteran in the US Army Combat Engineers. He England before the invasion. He was a Master Sergeant. 9/3/1942-3/5/1946.
He was manager of the Smith Lumber Company for several years and was owner and operator of the Johnson Building Specialties of which he retired in 1985.
He was a member of the Grace Congregational Church of Christ, the Proctor-Pittsford Country Club, Rutland Eagles, Elks, Moose and VFW.
He was Post #31 Commander 1954-55.
He died of cirrhosis in 1999 and is buried at Evergreen Cemetery.
