William Joseph Kerrigan

7/28/1908-4/26/52

 

Joined the Army on April 10,1942 and was discharged Oct 2,1945. He was a tech sergeant (E6),with the 78th Infantry . He received good conduct medal and the bronze star for his Belgium, Luxembourg Germany. 

 

He was a clerk at the Killington Bank from 1920 until 1952.

 

He was the post #31 Commander 1948-49. He participated in various children and youth and Americanism. All round person that can transform the patrons. 

 

He was also a member of Rutland Aerie 101, VFW, DAV and Elks Lodge of Rutland.

 

 

He died of congestive heart failure 44 years old. Buried at St Bridgets cemetery, West Rutland.
