The President of CVPS was Past Post Commander Albert Cree. I suspect that is how Glover was so involved with Rutland Post and became their Commander in 1945-46.

Glover was the Americanism Commander. Speaking around the area on the Poppy Day and support of disabled veterans and promoting war bonds. Membership grew to over 500 members.
