On July 17, 1985 Firemen & Police Officer across the state paid their respects to Montpelier Fire Chief Sid Lawson Sr. as he was carried from Trinity United church to a fire truck for Waterbury Center cemetery. Sid Lawson was also one of Montpelier Post #3 Commanders.
