Les was a loyal and trusted man. His passion was with membership recruitment. He enjoyed promoting The American Legion programs and could recruit anyone into the organization. Semper Fi Meant always faithful. He was that. Faithful to the principles and policies of The American Legion.
Les was diagnosed in 2020 of pancreatic cancer with metastasis. He died at the Manchester VA Hospital Hospice unit with his daughter and son by his side. He requested to be buried at the Vermont Veterans Cemetery in Randolph, VT.
