Ernie Cyr: born May 2, 1932 Middlebury, Vt Graduated from West Rutland HS class of 1950. 

US Army Korean war veteran assigned to the 31st Artillery entering 1950,  1957 assigned to Antiaircraft Artillery and Guided missile Center, Ft Bliss, TX. Then overseas 1959. 1962 made SSG while on duty in Vincenza, Italy. 

1953 worked on a farm in Orwell.

Ernie had an incredible presence and the ability to spin a yarn before each meeting and conference. He was inspiring to those that heard him speak. Americanism programs and Children and Youth were his passions.
