Alan Grazini was born March 13, 1939 in Rutland, Vt. His father Albert Belserio Grazini and his mother Catherine (Jeanotte) Grazini were Department Commander and President, respectively. (First son of parents that served as Department leaders)

Served in the US Navy, Carrier Antisubmarine Air Group; USS Essex. He was a 3rd class yeoman in 1962. He was Stationed at the US Embassy in Tehran, Iran 1979. 

Member and Past Commander (1986) and Adjutant of Rutland Post #31. 

Rutland Couty Cdr; 4th District Commander; Southern Area Cdr; Senior Vice Cdr 1993-94 and Dept. Membership Chairman.

Department Commander 1994-95. 

Alternate 1996-97 and National Executive Committeeman 97-98.

He served, as his father did, with the Rutland Police Department As a patrolman (Sergeant). Retired in 2000. 

 

Died March 29, 2019. He had severe Kidney disease. Buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Rutland, VT
