Joe Murphy was born January 26,1931 n Hartford,Connecticut. He graduated from Cromwell HS and graduated from Bryant College, RI with a degree in accounting.
He served with the US Airforce during the Korean War.
Occupation: Accountant. Worked for Brattleboro Retreat and Stillwater Press.

District, County, Southern Area Commander, Vice Commander and Membership Chairman.
Department Commander 1991-92 He served several months prior due to Commander Kenyons Cancer illness.

Joe died May 16, 2004 and was buried at the Veterans cemetery in Middletown, CT
