Edwin "Ed" Barnard born May 18, 1920 in Springfield, Vt. Attended Springfield HS.
Joined the Canadian Military Three Rivers Tank Corps. Returned to Vt and joined the US Army.Nov 12,1942-Oct 16,1945. He remained in Ft Gordon due to significant injuries. He met his wife Esther who was an Army nurse that cared for his injuries.
Civilian Occupation: Worked for Cross Company Food Distributors; Breeder of Rabbits. (For show and pets).

Ed loved ceramics. He gave several of his creations to members of The American Legion. You can still find them on display at certain posts.
He died April 29, 1988 of complications from Diabetes.
