Herb Reed born February 13,1919 in Chelsea,VT . Graduated from Chelsea HS Class 1937.
1944-1946 served in the US Marine Corps. Dog handler in the war dog training command. Rank PFC.
He retired from Central Vermont Railway in 1980. He was a railroad yard conductor.

Dept Commander 1975-76. (His wife Gladys previous Dept President Auxiliary).
Member of the Shrine and Masons.
He died February 21, 1998 After years of enduring Alzheimer's. He is buried in Greenwood Vault cemetery, St Albans.
