Harry F. Dugan was born in Quechee,Vt March 19, 1897. He attended Hartford H.S.

July 15 1918 he joine the US Army Mechanized Tank Division. Overseas 10/22/1918-7/22/1919.Rank PFC.

Civilian Life he was a railway mail clerk 

He was a faithful member of Post 26 in White River Jct. Post Cdr, Adjutant, Service Officer and Historian (50 years).

1952 he ran for Department Commander against bank executive Ray McGinn of St Albans. It was close race all during balloting,but he won by 25 votes thanks to West Rutland. 

He was a member of the Elks and Grand Chef of Vt 40&8.

He died of lung cancer in the VA nursing home n May 17, 1983. He Is buried Hartford Cemetery.
