Cdr. Robert DIACK
ROBERT ALEXANDER DIACK (1896 - 1962), our 13th post commander in 1931. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy at Burlington 12 July 1918. Assigned to Naval Training Station at Newport, Rhode Island until 14 September 1918, then Newport Naval Hospital until 11 November 1918; He was discharged at Newport, 17 December 1918. He was manufacturing plant manager at Rock of Ages Corporation, and his wife Eleanor was Director of Nursing Services at Barre City Hospital.
