This letter is to thank you for you generosity for the support you gave Dean Mendenhall, Provo Post 13. We are a non-profit organization and over the years have dedicated hours and support to our communities. With that we have accumulated historical data that cannot be replaced dedicated to service and sacrifice to this community. Most importantly every dollar that we make goes back into this community. Not one cent is spent on administartaion services to administer our volunteer services to our community. Therefore that is why your generosity was so important and appreciated. The files that were preserved in those cabinets and records retrieved were the beginnings of The American Legion of Provo and her Auxiliary.
Your actions and services may seem like a small task for you but was monumental to the Organizations Historical record keeping. The records found went back to the beginning of The American Legion in 1919 when the National Organization was organized and Provo was one of the first Posts in America Chartered by Congress.
We commend you for your selfless acts of kindness and service to our Veterans through out this county. Thank you.
