The American Legion District #4 conducted their annual Oratorical Scholarship Contest January 9, 2013. The Oratorical’s were given on the Constitution of The United States and 4 Assigned Amendment Topics that were drawn from a hat.
The District competition had 7 Contestants. 1st Place representing District #4 is:
Adam Robertson Provo High School sponsored by Provo Post 13.
3 Judges evaluated the competitor’s scores. The Judges Scores were tabulated by a Final Tabulation Committee Chaired and advised by the District Commander. With the Final Tabulation of points the Contestants were ranked as follow for use in The Department Level Competition and are being sent as possible District Alternates for any non- participating Districts to supplement those Districts vacancies.
