Legionnaires and guests attending the November 2025 Third Tuesday general membership meeting will be welcomed into a refreshed building environment, courtesy of the Bluff Dale 4-H Club.

In alignment with the 4-H Pledge and Motto, "To Make the Best Better," which emphasizes personal growth, service, and community engagement, Monica Becker, an adult leader of the group, contacted American Legion Post 240 Adjutant Chris Grantham to offer a 'Fall Fresh' cleaning of the American Legion building.  Arrangements were made and the eager group of volunteers showed up on Friday November 14th for the 'Fall Fresh Clean-up.' The young members of the 4-H Club worked collaboratively and enthusiastically to complete the cleaning tasks.

Chris and Monica set aside a little bit of time to discuss the history of the Post and talk about the Legions commitment to youth through our various programs. Additionally, the Adjutant shared his ongoing efforts to connect the 4-H Club with the American Legion’s Junior Shooting Sports program and discussed other initiatives such as The Legion’s oratorical contest and Boys and Girls State Programs.
