Surrounded by family & friends including UDC, Elks, Legionnaires and his Masonic Lodge brothers, Post 240 Honorary Life Member,John Rogers, celebrated his 98th birthday, at the Post 240 Hall on Saturday May 20.
Turnbow-Higgs American Legion Post 240 Commander, Burton Smith, began the celebration by displaying & reading from a framed Post 240 presentation, the resolution declaring the Post meeting room forever more will be known as; “The John Rogers Room”.
Commander congratulated John on his 70 years of continuous service to the American Legion and acknowledged John’s many contributions during his long tenure of service to Post 240.
Congratulations on number 98! GOD BLESS you comrade, and may GOD continue to BLESS the United States of America!
