The annual Post Everlasting Memorial Service began with Commander Smith issuing the Stack Rifles Command to Honor Guard members (L-R above photo) Robert Whiteley, Curtis Anderson and Jack Parks as Vice Commander Randall Jameson looks on. Commanded by Sgt. in Charge, Curtis Anderson, the Honor Guard proceeded to stack rifles and Chaplain Leroy Griffin, Commander Burton Smith and Vice Commander Randall Jameson (L-R below) perform the solemn ritual of reading and placing the names of our departed comrades in the eternal flame.

The memorial service concluded with Past Commander Jim Cox presenting Echo Taps and Commander Smith Presenting Resolutions to next of kin in attendance.
Next of Kin families present receiving resolutions were; Nell Northcut & family for Kenneth Northcutt; Sharon Davis & family for Chester Davis and Brad Chilton & wife for Father Stuart Chilton.
Secretary/Treasurer of Auxiliary Unit 240,Joanna Lay , accepted the Post Everlasting resolution on behalf of the Brad Thompson family.
