Turnbow-Higgs American Legion Auxiliary President, Patti Douglas and Post 240 Judge Advocate, Fred Cross are photographed with the Sons of the Revolution during the Texas Battalion ROTC Annual Dining Out event held at The Tarleton Ballroom, Barry B. Thompson Student Center on the Tarleton State University Campus. A 350 plus crowd was present to honor and congratulate cadet recipients of outstanding achievement awards during the 2013/2014 term.

Turnbow-Higgs American Legion Post 240 Judge Advocate, Fred Cross, smartly attired in his Army Military Uniform was the presenter of the Gold, Silver & Bronze ‘Top Shooter Awards’. Fred has been the presenter of the top shooter awards for several years.

Auxiliary Unit 240 President, Patti Douglas, presented The American Legion ROTC Military Excellence Awards to a Female Cadet and Post 240 Commander Roger Easter presented the American Legion Military Excellence Award to Male Cadet Adam Barnes.

Other Legionnaires present were Tom and Marilyn Smith, Richard and Janis Petronis and The Master of Ceremony, Professor of Military Science, James Vranes and wife Wendy.
