Some of Parker County's smallest made big allegiances to honor all veterans Thursday.
Poolville elementary students waved flags and banners while walking along South Church Street during their annual Veterans Day parade.
Students, teachers, parents and veterans took a moment of silence and placed their hands across their chests while reflecting on the American flag at the post office.
United States Air Force Tech. Sgt. Bridget Lund has children who attend the elementary school and said she was asked to help with the parade, so she brought some members of her unit.
"Veterans Day is a very important day," she said .
"It shows our respect to our past, present and future," Lund said.
