WEATHERFORD — Veterans will be honored Saturday, Nov. 8, with a parade themed “Let Us Never Forget.”
Parker County American Legion Post 163 sponsors the annual Veteran’s Day Parade, which begins at 10:30 a.m. from Weatherford Ninth Grade Center, 1007 S. Main.
The parade route goes north on Main to Oak Street, west to Alamo, south past Cherry Park, then back to the Ninth Grade Center.
Applications are being taken for floats and other entries by the Post’s Parade Committee, 703 Eureka St., Weatherford, 76086. Forms are available at the Chamber of Commerce or American Legion Post 163 and must be submitted no later than the first week of November 2008.
