Weatherford stopped in honor its veterans’ Saturday morning with a special parade filled with members of the armed forces.
The Freedom Bell is rung announcing the parade as it moves up South Main. The Cowboy’s fly over in vintage World War II F-18's and wow the crowd. A group of Civil War reenactors parade down York Avenue in 19th century military regalia. Members of American Legion Post 163 are carried by float through the parade. Area bike riders showed their patriotism by kicking up dust and making noise as they roared through the parade.
