Post 72 Commander Don Bailey presents the Douglas M. Lyons, 2016-2017 Legionnaire of the Year Award to Lawrence E. Saunders Jr.-Post 72 Chaplain. Lawrence was instrumental in the research of the names and history of the Stewart County Veterans War Memorial. He is always there and is always humble in everything he does. We are proud to call him a Legionnaire, friend, and brother.
