The annual POW/MIA normally is held at the Post and all veterans, their families , the Ladies Auxiliary, the VFW and DAV are invited. Because the past ceremony(ies) did not have much attendance, this year the Post decided to have it in downtown Sweetwater. It was very successful and received front page coverage of the event which was co-sponsored by the Advocate and Democrat newspaper. Future ceremonies are planned to be held in the same location
