Post 102 recently held a wreath laying ceremony at the county veterans memorial in honor of Pearl Harbor Day. 3 WWII vets showed up as our guests of honor; former POW Ralph Roger's, Joe Whitworth, and Jack Walker. County Mayor Brett Lashlee and Commander Charles Turner laid the wreath. We led off with the Pledge of Allegiance, Followed by a short speech on Pearl Harbor, the Mayor and the Commander both said a few words, and we closed with a prayer. We had about 30 in the audience.
