Flag Raising Ceremony

Honor Guard's official raising of the Colors and American Legion flags on opening day at Legion Lake Lodge. Flag raising ceremony commemorates the American Legion's historic ties with its namesake lake, lodge, and campground in Custer State Park.

Later that day the American Legion flag will be replaced with a South Dakota state flag. Both American and South Dakota flags will be donated to Legion Lake Lodge by Custer Post #46.
