Our main event for the year is the Annual Memorial Day Service. It is well attended, has an informative speaker, attendees march to the monument where crosses and wreaths are placed for all deceased veterans from the Aurora community, and followed by a noon potluck luncheon. Another community event is the annual Poultry Bingo Party a week before Thanksgiving. The Auxiliary serves a soup and sandwich meal before the bingo games.
