The Rames-Bender Post 152 conducted the annual Memorial Day service at the Menno Cemetery.  Commander Shirlene Simonsen conducted the program; Army Colonel David Auch was the main speaker; Tom Ulmer, Dale Weisz and the Menno High School Band furnished the music (the Menno band also furnished the buglers); and Gary Schelske read the Honor Roll of the Dead.  The color guard consisted of:  Lee Herrboldt, Lynn Ulmer, Earl Neuharth, Terry Auch, and Bob Rennolet, with members of the Legion Auxiliary as well.  Firing squad were:  Roger Mensch (Sergeant-at-Arms), Johan Stokes, Wahnell Ulmer, Myron Mehlhaf, Larry Kirschenman, Kelly Streyle, Darrell Mehlhaf, Jim Opplinger, Dale Mehlhaf, and Del Ray Edelman.  There were over 500 people attending the service and the morning was successful.
