The Rames-Bender Post 152 sponsored the 46th annual 4th of July parade in Menno. There were over 70 entries in the parade. The color guard marched in the parade along with the color guards from Scotland and Tabor. The color guard were: Larry Stern (Sergeant-at-Arms), Johan Stokes, Wandell Ulmer, Earl Neuharth, Dale Luikens, and Shirlene Simonsen. During the parade, the post sold raffle tickets, with the drawing being held on July 6. The day was successful.
