The Rames-Bender Post 152 conducted the annual Memorial Day service at the Menno Cemetery.  The service started with an airplane fly over by Captain Bob Hall; Commander Roger Mensch conducted the program; USAF Colonel Andrew Larson was the main speaker; Tom Ulmer, Dale Weisz and the Menno High School Band furnished the music (with the band also furnishing the buglers); and Gary Schelske read the Honor Roll of the Dead.  Color guard consisted of:  Larry Kirschenman, Ken Aisenbrey, Shirleen Simonsen, Bob Rennolet, and Daryl Mehlhaf, with Legion Auxiliary members present as well.  Firing squad were:  Larry Stern (Sergeant-at-Arms), Lynn Ulmer, Dale Mehlhaf, Johan Stokes, Laddie Novak, Kelly Streyle, Mike Wollman, Dale Luikens, and Jeff Lieble.  Over 500 people attended the service and the morning was successful.
