The Rames-Bender Post 152 conducted the annual Memorial Day service at the Menno Cemetery.  The program was conducted by Commander Roger Mensch; Major Cade Anderson was the main speaker; Tom Ulmer and the Menno High School Band furnished the music (and the band furnished the buglers); and Gary Schelske read the Honor Roll of the Dead and dedicated the new memorial honoring Calvin Hoff and Wilmer Bender, who were killed in World War 2.  The Color Guard consisted of:  Dan Auch, Jerome Hoff, Lee Heckenlaible, Ken Aisenbrey, and Jerry Nusz, with Legion Auxilliary members as well.  Firing Squad were:  Larry Stern (Sergeant-at-Arms) plus 10 additional shooters.  The day was very successful.
