The Rames-Bender Post 152 held the first annual pheasant hunt with the assistance of the Sioux Falls Veterans Hospital. Legionnaire Dan Auch provided the hunting land, the VA hospital brought the paralyzed veterans and the guns, and the Post furnished the supper in the Legion Hall. There were 40 hunters and pheasant drivers for the event. The event was a great success and another hunt was planned for next year.
