The Rames-Bender Post 152 held the annual Memorial Day service at the Menno Cemetery. The program was conducted by Legion Commander Roger Mensch, pastor Brad Danielson was the main speaker, Bob Rennolet read the Honor Roll of the Dead, and Tom Ulmer and the Menno High School Band furnished the music. The Color Guard were: Dan Auch, Bill Headley, Lee Heckenlaible, Ken Aisenbrey, Jerry Nusz, and members of the American Legion Auxilliary. The Firing Squad were: Larry Stern (Sergeant-at-Arms) and 7 other members. The day was successful.
